About me

Hello and welcome.
My name is Sony, I am 34 years old and I am a developer at the European Economic and Social Committee
Graduated of EPITECH, I have 14 years of experience.

About me

I have always been interested in new technologies. That's why I did Science baccalauréat. Then, I had the choice between several alternatives for the rest of my studies like preparatory classes and engineering schools.
However, I was immediately seduced by EPITECH for its pedagogy and philosophy. The school prepares us optimally for our career and its training is still useful to me today. I also had the pleasure of doing my third year in Sweden.

Work Experience

I am actually an Angular / .NET developer at EESC.
Previously, I was a Solution Architect at BPCE SA. I worked on several subject as designing microservices architecture, developing enablers in Java / .NET, studing ecological footprint, animating a watch group for quantum computing.
Just before, I was a Lead Developer.
My activities was varied:
- Participation in several projects related to all the Bank business, in agility or V-cycle
- Coordination and monitoring of team activities
- Assistance in implementing DevSecOps practices
- Animation of the team on good practices
- Technical watch sharing
- Analysis and risk assessment of historical or recent projects
For my last position as a contractor, I was a senior consultant C# / . NET at Itecor and on mission at LocArchives. My projects consisted in developing a web application by improving the user experience and security by using the OWASP recommendations and by implementing the SSO SP/ IDP initiated.
Before LocArchives, I was on a mission at Suez. I designed and developed a HSM (Hardware Security Module) simulator. I self-trained on the concepts of cryptography: AES, RSA, RSA KEM and XML signature.
Previously, I was a consultant .NET at Altansia. I was on a mission at BPCE Assurances for over 2 years. Thanks to the success of the applications developed during my internship and my project management, several projects were created. And, to industrialize the developments, I set up:
- a web service (Wcf) to manage users and other information common to projects.
- A GIT server to version and secure source codes
- A graphic charter;
- A common structure for each projects
I also completed internships:
In a startup, I initially did some research to set up a continuous integration server associated with Git. Then I developed a back-end for Leetchi.com. Finally, I solved the tasks I was assigned to with Jira as bug fixes or front-end integration.
I had the responsibility to evolve a rich intranet site running under IE6 to be functional on the main recent browsers while keeping the same features.
Within a team of 5 people, I was tasked with improving, optimizing and adding new features to an existing C program. Then I went into front-end integration.
In each case, a very different business and new activities: I had to adapt mysefl and be autonomous.

Hobbies

Besides my work, I also tried several projects at home to deepen and progress in programming languages such as .NET Core.
I have the motorcycle license. As soon as I can, I go for a ride with my friends. Finally, to relax, I love swimming.

Suez

HSM simulator - C# / . NET / WCF / Oracle / Cryptography

As part of securing the network of transmitters and receivers, I designed and developed an application
for simulating the components of an HSM. The application allows key management and decrypt all received data.
There is about 50 million data to process per day

Banque Populaire Caisse d'Epargne Assurances

Web Service - C# / .NET / WCF / SQL Server

In collaboration with several counterparts (OAB - Orange application for business, Genesys and OWI Technologies), I developed a web service allowing interconnection between several applications. The solution is efficient, resilient and maintainable thanks to the use of dependency injection or Disposable, for example.
At same time, I set up a web service monitoring system to be alerted in case of failure
The web service receives more than 30,000 calls a day

Repository Management Tool - C# / MVC 5 / SQL Server / jQuery / Ajax

Following a need of the technical and steering direction, I developed a rich web application to modify an SQL datawarehouse.
The changes are then validated and archived

Claims Management Tool - C# / MVC 3 / SQL Server

I have developed a rich web application for the complaints service to qualify, track and process a customer complaint.
More than 12,000 claims were managed through the solution. The tool made up for the backlog.

Claims Cost Assessment Tool, OTC - C# / MVC 3 / SQL Server

To enable better disaster management, I developed a rich web application for disaster assessment. Thus, thanks to the tool, the client service has the possibility to propose an OTC
There are 500 users using the tool and the return on investment is significant: each administrator saved about 10 minutes on file management.

Personal projects

On my free time, I do technological watch through several projects:

.NET CORE / C# / AngularJS 2 / TypeScript

I took advantage of the second version of angularJS to test the new version of .NET and TypeScript.

C# / AngularJS 1

For several months, I developed a custom inventory management application on behalf of a wholesaler.

C# / WPF / MVVM / Tasks

To test this theme, I developed a tool that allows tagging MP3 files. I forced myself to use the MVVM Light framework.

Node JS / Mango DB

With a friend, we developed a website to reference the books and films.

C# / MVC 5 / SQL Server / Azure

Before using it on a mission, I tried the MVC 5 framework during a personal project.
